Your bundle(s) of joy are here. Now its time to get some sleep.

Do I need a postpartum doula?

The baby is born and the congratulations have poured in. The laundry has piled up and you have eaten your last frozen casserole. Parents today have so much asked of them and are given so little support. Sometimes, we need a little help. That’s where postpartum doulas come in.

Gassy baby? I can show you tried and true methods to naturally push those bubbles out. Having trouble bonding? There are so many reasons for delayed bonding that we can work through. Is baby not sleeping? I will wear your baby overnight while getting that laundry folded and have breakfast ready in the morning.

Postpartum Package

As a certified Maternal Support Practitioner, I provide knowledge, emotional, and physical support. You will also have access to the Childbirth Together library, with over 30 books covering various topics related to fertility, labor, and the postpartum period.

Daytime Support

The early postpartum period is a beautiful, life-changing time in every parent's life. There is so much to experience and enjoy. There's also a lot of decisions to make, new chores to handle, and, in many cases, a lack of support. That's where postpartum doulas come in.

Education

Becoming a parent comes with a steep learning curve with a well known conundrum, you don’t know what you don’t know. Postpartum doula’s are uniquely trained to not only support both you and your family during the first year of your baby’s life, but to impart that knowledge onto you. The best postpartum doula’s work themselves out of a job and that is always my goal.

Nighttime Support

Sleep is without a doubt one of the biggest challenges to new parents. Exhaustion can take much of the joy in early parenthood, especially when it comes time for teething and sleep regression that generally follows large mental and physical developments. As an overnight doula, I will tend to your children through out the night so you can get hours of uninterrupted sleep. If you need to be woken up for feeding, you don’t have to get out of bed. I will bring your baby to you, assist with your latch if needed, then burp and settle the baby back down without you ever needing to leave your covers.

Book an appointment.
